Payments for classroom training can be made on the day in cash, or a minimum of 3 days before the date of training by bank transfer.

Marine Safety Queensland Requirements
As per MSQ regulations the pass mark for the 50 multiple choice questions is 100%. If any of the questions are answered incorrectly on the day you will need to undergo further training on those questions. You will be required to reattempt questions you answered incorrectly. If unsuccessful the second time the student is deemed "not yet competent" and will be required to come back to us for further training and reassessment on another day at a fee of $100
On the successful completion of all assessments, you will be deemed competent and awarded a certificate of competency. Please take the certificate of competency to the Department of Motor Transport to obtain your licence. Fees apply.

Andrew Ryder Boat and Jet Ski Licensing is a locally owned family business focused on small group training and personal service featuring comprehensive practical experience for each student.
We are an accredited Marine Safety Queensland Provider servicing the Townsville and the Burdekin. We cater for the novice through to the experienced. If you have special requirements please chat to us. Andrew Ryder is a skilled teacher with many years’ experience. He holds a working with children card, a teaching degree and a trainer and assessor certificate.
Defence member discounts are available, along with RPL (recognition of prior learning) for those having completed Defence Small Boats courses.
